| Obverse description | The Argentine national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a clasped-hands motif within an oval cartouche surmounted by a radiant rising sun, the whole encircled by a laurel and olive wreath tied at the base with a ribbon, and flanked below by two small stars. The circular legend REPÚBLICA ARGENTINA arcs around the upper periphery, while the date appears in the exergue below the arms. The design is executed in finely milled relief with a beaded border. |
