Reverse description A left-facing draped bust of Simón Bolívar occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and drapery. The legend BOLÍVAR LIBERTADOR curves along the upper periphery. An anchor privy mark appears to the right of the bust, with a star separator, and the engraver's signature BARRE and the Paris mint mark A are positioned at the lower reverse. The design reflects the neoclassical engraving style characteristic of the Monnaie de Paris workshop under Désiré-Albert Barre.
