Obverse description Central field occupied by four large Chinese characters reading 大清銅幣 (Copper Coin of the Great Qing), arranged in a cruciform pattern within an inner beaded circle. The reign inscription 宣統年造 (Made in the Xuantong reign) and the denomination 當制錢十文 (equivalent to ten cash) appear in the outer annulus between the beaded border and the milled rim. Manchu script occupies the uppermost portion of the outer legend, flanking the Chinese characters. Cyclical date characters (己酉, corresponding to 1909) appear in the outer field to the right and left. The design is executed in bold, deeply incised strokes typical of late Qing imperial copper coinage.

Reverse description Central device depicts a coiling five-clawed imperial dragon rendered in high relief, shown in profile with head facing upward and surrounded by stylized flames and cloud scrolls, a flaming pearl visible beneath its body. The dragon is enclosed within an inner beaded circle. The outer legend reads 宣統年造 (Made in the Xuantong reign) in Chinese characters at the top, while the romanized legend TAI-CHING-TI-KUO COPPER COIN. runs along the left and lower periphery between the beaded border and the milled rim. The denomination NO. 10 appears to the right in the outer annulus. The overall design conforms to the standardized late Qing imperial copper cash type introduced under the Xuantong reign.
