Reverse description A coiled imperial dragon is depicted at centre, presented in high relief with sinuous body and elaborate scale detail, clutching or pursuing a flaming pearl. Above the dragon, a circular Chinese legend reads 造年統宣 (Made in the reign of Xuantong). Below, the English inscription TAI-CHING-TI-KUO COPPER COIN arcs along the lower rim in Latin characters, identifying this as a copper coin of the Great Qing Empire for international commercial recognition.
