| Reverse description | Cast reverse displaying a bilingual inscription arranged around the central square hole in the traditional cash coin format. A single Chinese character 當 (Dang, meaning 'equal to') appears above the hole and 十 (Shi, meaning 'ten') below, while two Manchu script syllables ᠪᠣᠣ (Boo) and ᠰᡠ (Su) are placed to the right and left respectively, together reading 'Boo-su', identifying the Suzhou Mint. All characters are rendered in raised relief with a plain raised square inner rim and outer border. |
