Reverse description Two crossed flags displayed in saltire occupy the central field, their staffs crossing at the center and the flag bodies fanning outward to the lower left and lower right — a design emblematic of the early Republic of China. A compact Arabic legend appears above the crossing point of the flags, and a more extensive multi-line Arabic inscription fills the lower portion of the field below the flags, recording the mint, date (1332 AH), and denomination. The rim is defined by a continuous beaded border.
