| Reverse description | Central square hole flanked by Manchu script on the left and right sides, reading vertically and together forming the mint name ᠪᠣᠣ ᠶᡠᠸᠠᠨ (Boo-yuwan), the Manchu rendering of the Board of Works Mint. Above the square hole appears the Chinese character 當 (dāng, meaning 'value of'), and below the hole the Chinese character 十 (shí, meaning 'ten'), together indicating a denomination of ten cash. The reverse field is plain and undecorated, with a raised rim, consistent with standard Qing dynasty cast cash coinage. |
