Obverse description Two crossed flags of the Republic of China displayed centrally, flanked on either side by decorative floral sprays. A horizontal legend in Chinese characters appears above the flags, with a further inscription below, all contained within the coin's field. The overall design commemorates the founding of the Republic of China, rendered in a bold, relief style characteristic of early Republican-era coinage.

Reverse description A symmetrical wreath of foliate sprays, tied at the base with a ribbon bow, frames two large Chinese characters centrally placed in the field reading 十文 (Ten Cash). The engraver's signature 'L.GIORGI' appears incuse within the right wreath branch. The Latin legend 'TEN CASH' curves along the lower exergue in bold relief lettering. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
