Reverse description The reverse displays two sinuous imperial dragons rendered in high relief, their scaled bodies coiling dynamically around a central flaming pearl. The dragons face one another from either side, with their heads meeting at the top of the design above the pearl, and their tails entwined amid stylised waves and clouds at the base. A small sea creature or serpent is depicted amid the turbulent waters at the lower centre. The entire design is framed by a plain recessed border and an outer beaded rim, with no additional lettering on this face.
