| Obverse description | Central field dominated by four large Chinese characters reading 光緒元寶 (Guangxu Yuanbao), enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The legend 廣西省造 (Made in Guangxi Province) is inscribed at the top arc of the outer ring, with the denomination legend 每元當制錢十文 (equivalent to ten cash per yuan) at the bottom arc. Manchu script characters appear flanking the central inscription within the inner circle. The entire design is framed by a continuous beaded border, with small floral or rosette ornaments at the cardinal positions between the inner and outer legends. |
