Reverse description A writhing imperial dragon in high relief occupies the central field, depicted in profile with scales rendered in fine detail and a flaming pearl before its chest. The dragon is encircled by a beaded border, outside of which the English peripheral legend names the issuing province and denomination. The overall composition follows the standard late Qing provincial cash coinage format.
