Obverse description Central field bears four large Chinese ideograms arranged in a cruciform pattern reading top to bottom, right to left, with a decorative floral rosette at the centre. An inner border of additional Chinese characters forms a circular legend surrounding the central motif, conveying the mint name, reign title, denomination, and metal composition. The entire design is contained within a plain inner ring and a finely beaded outer border.

Reverse description Two sinuous dragons in high relief are depicted in dynamic confrontation, encircling a central plain round hole or orb, their scaled bodies, clawed feet, and flowing whiskers rendered in fine detail. The dragons face one another across the central void, with stylised clouds and waves filling the lower field and background. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border, with no peripheral legend.
