Obverse description Central floral rosette occupies the field, flanked by four large Chinese characters arranged vertically in two columns reading right to left. A horizontal band of smaller Chinese characters forms the upper and lower legends, with additional inscription encircling the periphery. The overall design is executed in a clean, mechanical style characteristic of late Qing provincial mint production. The reign title of the Guangxu Emperor appears prominently within the arrangement of inscriptions.
