Additional information

Honan's provincial copper cash issues of 1913–14 were struck during the chaotic early years of the Republic, when Beijing's central authority over provincial mints was largely nominal. The Y#A392.1 and Y#A392a designations reflect confirmed die varieties — a not uncommon situation for Honan, whose mint operated with inconsistent oversight and produced multiple working die iterations within single emission runs.
