The upper margin bears the bank title EL BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA with PAGARÁ AL PORTADOR A LA VISTA below, while the lower margin carries the denomination DIEZ BOLIVIANOS EN ORO O GIROS-ORO; series letter D and serial number appear at upper left and right, with La Paz and the law date Ley de 20 de Julio de 1928 in the lower corners.
