| Reverse description | At centre, a pellet within a large annulet, mirroring the obverse design. The denomination '10 BANI' is inscribed in the upper field above the central device. Two knotted branches flank the lower portion of the design: a bay branch to the left and an oak branch to the right, meeting below the central annulet. The date '1905' appears in the lower exergue beneath the branches. |

Romania's monetary committee spent much of 1904–1905 evaluating alternative compositions for small-denomination coinage, with aluminium bronze among several alloys tested against nickel and straight copper. The 1905 pattern series, of which KM#Pn60 and its variants form a distinct subset, were struck at the Monnaie de Paris under contract — Romania lacking sufficient domestic striking capacity for experimental runs at the time.
None of these compositions were adopted for the 10 bani denomination in circulation issues of that period.
