| Obverse description | The obverse displays the full Romanian state coat of arms at centre, comprising a quartered shield bearing the aurochs head, eagle, lion, and other traditional Romanian heraldic emblems, surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is supported on the left by a standing female figure in classical drapery and on the right by a rampant lion, both flanking a draped mantle. A scrolled cartouche below carries the motto legend. The legend ROMANIA arcs along the upper periphery in large Latin capitals, while the motto NIHIL SINE DEO appears on a ribbon at the base of the arms. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents the denomination and date in three bold lines at the centre of the field: '10' above 'BANI' above '1867', all within an open wreath composed of an olive branch on the left and an oak branch on the right, tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The mint name 'WATT & CO.' appears in small capitals in the lower exergue beneath the wreath, just inside the beaded border.
