Obverse description A front-facing bust portrait of King Rama VIII (Ananda Mahidol) occupies the central vignette, with Mahakan Fort and the Golden Mount (Phu Khao Thong) rendered in the background. A circular cartouche in the lower right encloses a secondary vignette of a constitution manuscript resting upon a two-tiered phan (ceremonial tray). Guilloche borders frame the composition, with denomination numerals positioned at each corner.
