| Obverse description | The aluminium bronze centre features a right-facing draped effigy of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX), depicted wearing spectacles in his characteristic portrait style. The bust is rendered in moderate relief against a plain field. The surrounding copper-nickel ring bears the royal name in Thai script along the upper arc and the denomination and country name along the lower arc, with the Buddhist Era date ๒๕๕๐ (2550) also inscribed. |
