Additional information

This piece was struck to commemorate Princess Petcharat Rajasuda, daughter of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) and Queen Sirikit. Thailand's commemorative bimetallic program under Rama IX was prolific — the royal family and associated institutions generated a steady stream of issues through the 1990s and 2000s, many with modest circulating distribution and relatively low survival rates in uncirculated condition due to casual handling at point of release.
