Reverse description Within the aluminium bronze centre, a frontal depiction of an elephant bearing a crowned figure or deity upon its head, rendered in a traditional Thai artistic style, with cloud motifs flanking the lower portion. Thai inscriptions identifying Bangkok (กรุงเทพ) and Mahanakhon (มหานคร) appear across the centre field. The copper-nickel outer ring carries a Thai-script legend recording the institution name, the centennial anniversary dates BE 2441–2541 (1898–1998), the denomination 10 Baht, and the country name Thailand (ประเทศไทย), punctuated by small star ornaments.
