Obverse description Conjoined effigies of King Rama VI and King Rama IX (Bhumibol Adulyadej) facing slightly left, both depicted in military dress uniforms with decorative epaulettes and chain ornamentation. King Rama IX is shown in the foreground wearing characteristic eyeglasses, with King Rama VI positioned behind to the left. Thai script legends appear to the left and right of the effigies, identifying each monarch by reign number.
