Obverse description Conjoined busts of two monarchs facing left in high relief: in the foreground, the draped and uniformed effigy of King Rama IX (Bhumibol Adulyadej) wearing eyeglasses and elaborately embroidered military dress uniform, and behind him the bare-headed effigy of King Rama V (Chulalongkorn). A circular Thai-script legend surrounds the portraits, naming both monarchs along the upper and lower periphery of the field.
