| Additional information |
Thailand issued this ten baht denomination in 1992 under the long reign of Bhumibol Adulyadej, who held the throne from 1946 until his death in 2016 — making him the longest-reigning monarch in Thai history and the longest-reigning head of state in the world at the time of his death. The Royal Thai Mint produced numerous commemorative and circulating types throughout his reign, and distinguishing standard circulation strikes from the many special issues of the period requires careful attention to Y-number references.
