To the upper left of the cathedral, a decorative ecclesiastical roundel with a cross motif and three chalices is depicted, symbolizing the apostolic heritage of the site. A curved Cyrillic legend arcs along the upper periphery of the field, identifying the subject. In the lower exergue, the inscription 'IX-X ашэ.' (9th–10th century) denotes the historical period of the cathedral's construction. |
