| Obverse description | Printed in black on olive-toned paper, the obverse carries a central vignette of the Great Wall of China extending across both left and right portions of the note beneath an ornate foliate guilloche border. The bank title 西北農民銀行 (Farmer's Bank of Northwest China) appears at the top in Chinese characters, with the denomination 壹萬圓 (10,000 Yuan) rendered in large characters at the centre. A red serial number and prefix block letter are printed at upper left, with the date 中華民國三十六年 (Republic of China Year 36) at the lower centre. |
