| Obverse description | The obverse is laid out as a short-term 5% Treasury obligation. The Imperial double-headed eagle arms appear at left within an ornate vignette, alongside the large denomination numerals '10.000' in red. The central text in Cyrillic, set in letterpress, identifies this as a 5% краткосрочное обязательство Государственного Казначейства (5% short-term State Treasury obligation), with the face value of ten thousand roubles payable on 1 December 1917, signed by officials of the Department of the State Treasury. A serial number is printed at the lower centre, with the issue date of 1 March 1917 noted at Petrograd. |
