| Obverse description | Brown letterpress note with six small vignettes set in oval frames arranged in a row across the upper portion. The body carries the full bond text in Portuguese, with the denomination 10$000 réis stated in both numeral and written form. A red crowned oval overprint reading D. PEDRO IV / 1826, set within a starburst device, is applied over the base note P#13, validating it for continued circulation under the new reign. |
