Reverse description The reverse is executed in dark green and salmon-red on a cream ground, entirely covered by an intricate guilloche rosette underprint with a large central star-burst medallion and elaborate corner ornaments. The Fraktur inscription "Sächsische Bank" arches across the upper portion of the central vignette, with the large numeral "10000" and the word "Mark" centred beneath it, followed by "zu Dresden" at the lower edge of the medallion. A cautionary anti-counterfeiting legend in small letterpress type runs along the bottom border, and the printer's imprint "Giesecke & Devrient" appears in the lower right corner.
