| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by an oval vignette to the right containing a portrait of a young woman in Art Nouveau style, her hair adorned with flowers, set against an intricate guilloche background. To the left, a double-headed eagle vignette appears above the denomination legend "ZEHNTAUSEND KRONEN" in bold letterpress, with serial numbers printed in red. A red overprint reading "DEUTSCHOESTERREICH" is applied across the upper centre of the note, validating it for circulation in the newly formed Republic of German-Austria. |
