Obverse description Dark brown on multicolour underprint; the Paraguayan coat of arms is centred with the issuer's title arched above, while a portrait vignette of Dr. José Gaspar Rodríguez de Francia occupies the right side — notably misspelled "Caspar" rather than "Gaspar" in the printed legend as catalogued in P#203. The denomination appears in words beneath the arms and in numerals at centre left, with black serial numbers at lower left and lower right.
