Obverse description	The obverse is dominated by a large central vignette of African wildlife rendered in detailed intaglio, with an elephant at centre flanked by a giraffe, cape buffalo, lion, leopard, and rhinoceros against a warm salmon and ochre guilloche underprint. The bank name BANQUE DE LA RÉPUBLIQUE DU BURUNDI is inscribed in large letterpress across the upper field, with the denomination 10000 / DIX MILLE FRANCS repeated in the upper centre and at lower left and right. Two facsimile signatures appear beneath the bank name, attributed to Le 1er Vice-Gouverneur and Le Gouverneur respectively, and the year 2025 is printed vertically along the left margin; a commemorative inscription at the foot reads: 50 ans de la Convention sur le commerce international des espèces de faune et de flore sauvages menacées d'extinction.
