Obverse description	The obverse is printed in shades of red and pink on a light guilloche underprint. At left, a vignette of a hippopotamus appears above a circular seal or stamp device, with a swordfish motif below. The central field bears intaglio portraits of two unidentified male figures in formal attire with red ties, set against a structured guilloche background. At upper right, a decorative vase motif is visible, while the national flag of Burundi appears at lower centre. The denomination 10000 is printed at lower left and lower right, with the serial number rendered in red at upper right and lower left.

Reverse description	The reverse is executed in tones of red, pink, and green on a fine guilloche underprint. A large vignette at centre presents an outline map of Burundi in red, filled with a detailed illustration of dense tropical vegetation. At upper right, two facsimile signature lines are printed below the titles of the Governor and First Vice-Governor. A circular monogram cartouche bearing the initials BRB appears at lower right, alongside a small bird-of-prey vignette. The issue date 07-11-2022 is printed at lower centre.
