The Banque des États de l'Afrique Centrale issues a single note series circulating simultaneously across six member states — Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon — each country identified by a letter code prefix on the serial number. The multiple signature combinations on this note reflect not different dates of issue but different member-state governors signing alongside the common central cashier, a structural peculiarity of the BEAC's multinational mandate.
The "M" suffix on the Pick reference designates the Cameroon variant of this issue.
