Reverse description Central portrait depicts a forward-facing draped bust of Count Móric Benyovszky (1741–1786), the Hungarian-Slovak adventurer, explorer, and self-proclaimed King of Madagascar, rendered in high relief with fine detailing of his period costume featuring decorative scrollwork at the chest. The field behind the portrait is filled with an engraved period map showing his voyages, with inscriptions identifying key geographical locations including 'MADAGASZKÁR', 'Antongil-öböl', 'Ile de France', 'Bourbon', 'DÉL-TENGER', and route dates '1779, 1782' and '1784'. The circumferential legend arching across the upper field reads 'GRÓF BENYOVSZKY MÓRIC', and the dates '1741–1786' appear in the lower right field. A small mint master's mark is visible at the base of the portrait.
