| Reverse description | The reverse bears a finely modeled left-facing portrait bust of the Hungarian poet János Pilinszky, depicted in mature likeness with wind-swept hair and a textured scarf or collar, rendered in high sculptural relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. To the right of the portrait, his surname appears in a facsimile cursive signature, accompanied below by the years 1921-1981 in upright Latin numerals commemorating the centenary of his birth. The designer's monogram PB is incused at the lower center of the bust. |
