| Obverse description | A dynamic low-relief battle scene occupies the central field, depicting cavalry soldiers in the heat of engagement, rendered with fine sculptural detail evoking the military campaigns of the 1848–49 Hungarian Revolution. An inner border separates the central scene from the outer legend, which reads ISASZEG · BUDA · KOMÁROM · VÁC — four key battle sites associated with General Görgei — arranged in an arc below the country name. The legend MAGYARORSZÁG is inscribed prominently along the upper rim. The mint mark BP. appears to the lower left of the central design and the date 2018 to the lower right. The denomination 10000 FORINT is inscribed in large letters along the bottom of the coin. |

| Reverse description | A three-quarter facing portrait bust of Arthur Görgei in military uniform with epaulettes and a cravat fills the central field, rendered in finely detailed relief against a textured background composed of the names of his fellow officers and comrades-in-arms inscribed in varying sizes. The legend GÖRGEI ARTÚR is boldly inscribed along the upper left rim. The birth and death years 1818–1916 are positioned at the lower left. The engraver's monogram appears to the right of the portrait. The overall design conveys a commemorative tribute to the celebrated Hungarian military commander of the 1848–49 War of Independence. |
