Obverse description The central field features a stylized allegorical composition of radiating curved bands emanating from the lower right, set against a star-scattered nocturnal sky, evoking themes of lyrical poetry and celestial inspiration. A rising or setting sun rendered as a semicircle is visible at the lower left, with multiple fine radiant lines converging toward the lower right corner. The date 2011 appears in the upper left field. The denomination 10000 ԴՐԱՄ (10,000 Dram) is inscribed in large characters across the lower portion of the field. The Armenian-script legend ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ ԿԵՆՏՐՈՆԱԿԱՆ ԲԱՆԿ (Republic of Armenia Central Bank) runs along the beaded border.

Reverse description A finely detailed bust of Armenian Symbolist poet Misak Metsarents faces slightly to the right in three-quarter view, occupying the left and central portion of the field against a mirror-polished proof background. The subject is depicted as a young man with short wavy hair, wearing a jacket with a bow tie, rendered in a restrained, linear artistic style. To the right of the portrait, a vertical Armenian-script legend reads ՄԻՍԱՔ ՄԵԾԱՐԵNՑ, with the birth and death years 1886 and 1908 inscribed in two lines below in Latin numerals. The composition is unframed, with the portrait set directly within the coin's field.
