Armenia's Gemini issue belongs to a zodiac series produced under license from the Coin Invest Trust framework, with individual national banks lending their authority to coins largely designed and distributed through European intermediaries. The Armenian dram series of this type was struck at a European mint — almost certainly Bern or Valcambi — rather than domestically, as Armenia has never operated a mint of its own.
KM#188 is a low-mintage collector piece with negligible circulation history.
