Venezuela's 10,000 Bolívar denomination was introduced in 2000 as chronic inflation made smaller notes increasingly impractical — by that point, the bolívar had lost the overwhelming majority of its value since the currency's pre-oil-boom purchasing power. The note circulated through the final years before the 2008 redenomination, when the "bolívar fuerte" replaced it at a 1,000:1 ratio, effectively wiping four zeros from the economy overnight.

The "Printed: 30.04.1945" field in this catalog entry almost certainly reflects a data anomaly — possibly a default date or input error — not an actual print date for a note of this series.
