A payment clause reading PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO is divided across the lower portion of the note, while the country name appears at upper left and the denomination value at lower right. Venezuela's 10,000 Bolívar denomination was introduced in 2000 as chronic inflation made smaller notes increasingly impractical — by that point, the bolívar had lost the overwhelming majority of its value since the currency's pre-oil-boom purchasing power. The note circulated through the final years before the 2008 redenomination, when the "bolívar fuerte" replaced it at a 1,000:1 ratio, effectively wiping four zeros from the economy overnight.
The "Printed: 30.04.1945" field in this catalog entry almost certainly reflects a data anomaly — possibly a default date or input error — not an actual print date for a note of this series.
