The legend BOLIVAR arcs along the left periphery and LIBERTADOR along the right, flanking the effigy on both sides. The engraver's name BARRE appears in small capitals at the base of the truncation. A continuous beaded border encircles the entire design, framing the composition within the reeded edge. |
