Obverse description The obverse is printed in olive-green and brown tones on cream paper, with a large central oval underprint framing the denomination text in bold Fraktur script reading 'Zehn Millionen Mark'. Above the denomination, the city name 'Stadt Kreuznach' is set in a decorative Fraktur header, with the municipal coat of arms — a crowned tower over a chequered shield — positioned centrally between the two lines of text. Oval cartouches at each corner bear the denomination '10 Millionen' alternately upright and inverted, and the lower portion carries the issuance text, the date 'Kreuznach, den 13. Juli 1923', and a manuscript signature under the designation 'Der Bürgermeister'.

Reverse description The reverse carries a detailed engraved panoramic vignette reproducing a historical bird's-eye view of the town of Creutznach (Kreuznach), set against a rolling hillside with a prominent castle on the right and church spires across the townscape. In the left foreground, three allegorical figures — including a winged figure of Justice with a staff — stand beside the city's heraldic shield, with a cartouche inscribed 'CREUTZNACH' in the lower centre. Below the panorama, four lines of text in Latin and Early Modern German verse are arranged in two columns, printed in brown on a plain cream ground within a simple ruled border with ornamental corner pieces.
