| Obverse description | Blue letterpress note on cream paper, enclosed within an ornate foliate border with acanthus-leaf corner pieces and small municipal coat-of-arms vignettes at left and right centre. The denomination 'Zehn Millionen Mark' is set in large Gothic (Fraktur) type, the initial 'Z' rendered in an oversized display script occupying the left half of the field, with the issuer inscription 'Stadt Ohligs' at the top centre. Below the denomination text appears the payment obligation clause, the issue date 'Ohligs, den 1. September 1923', the designation 'Der Bürgermeister:' with a manuscript facsimile signature, and a red alphanumeric serial number at lower left; at the foot the printer's imprint reads 'Wilhelm Müller Jr., G.m.b.H. Ohligs'. |
