| Obverse description | Typeset Notgeld gutschein printed in dark brown on pale buff paper, with a fine guilloche wave-pattern border framing the entire face. The denomination 'Zehn Milliarden Mark' is set in large Gothic blackletter type at centre, above which the issuing authority clause appears in smaller script. To the right, a tall ornamental vignette of interlocking rosette and scroll work is printed in a lighter brown underprint, alongside a red letterpress serial number in vertical orientation.
