The Republika Srpska's hyperinflationary spiral of 1993 produced denominations that were obsolete before they reached circulation. This 10 billion dinar note was prepared but never issued — the inflation rate had already outpaced it. The Yugoslav successor states were printing notes faster than economies could assign meaning to them, and the Narodna Banka Republike Srpske shelved entire print runs when the arithmetic moved on.

Unissued remainders occasionally surface with original paper quality intact, which makes condition assessment nearly meaningless — they never faced a till or a wallet.
