Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of Tsar Alexander I, depicted with curly hair and classical neoclassical portrait style. The truncated bust is centered in the field, surrounded by a beaded inner border. The circular legend reads ALEXANDER I CESARZ SA. W. ROS. KRÓL POLSKI, identifying the ruler as Emperor of All Russia and King of Poland, separated by a star stop.

Reverse description A crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed, with wings spread, holding an orb and sceptre in its talons. On the eagle's breast is a shield bearing the arms of the Kingdom of Poland — a crowned white eagle. The date appears flanking the crown at the top of the design, with the denomination legend 1. ZŁOTY POLSKI arcing above, and the fineness and mint official initials I.B. inscribed below, all within a beaded border.
