| Obverse description | The Polish crowned eagle displayed — the uncrowned People's Republic variant with wings spread and head turned to the right — occupies the central field, rendered in bold relief. The eagle's talons are depicted open and its tail feathers fan outward beneath the body. The circular legend 'POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA' runs along the upper periphery, flanked by raised dots, with the mint year appearing in the lower field between two raised dots. The entire design is framed by a scalloped border of raised pellets running around the rim. |
