| Additional information |
The zlotnik is a pre-metric unit of weight used across the Russian Empire and its neighboring territories, revived here by the National Bank of Ukraine for a bullion-adjacent series pairing native wildlife with traditional measures. The corsac fox ranges across the steppe zones of eastern Ukraine, though habitat loss and agricultural encroachment have reduced its range considerably since the Soviet period.
