| Obverse description | Central field displays the crowned round shield of the Perellos family arms, quartered with the distinctive teardrop or water-bouget charges of the Order, enclosed within decorative sprays. The shield is surmounted by a broad coronet with five visible points. A continuous circular legend in Latin surrounds the central device, separated from it by a beaded inner border, with a further beaded or milled outer border framing the entire design. |

| Reverse description | St. John the Baptist stands at left, robed and nimbed, extending the banner of the Order toward the kneeling Grand Master Ramon Perellos y Roccaful depicted at right in a posture of reverence and submission. The scene is rendered in a devotional baroque style characteristic of Hospitaller coinage of the period, with the date of issue appearing within the legend. A beaded border frames the composition on the inner perimeter. |
