| Obverse description | Central device comprises a large, ornate fleur-de-lis rendered in high relief, the traditional heraldic emblem of Florence, with elaborately scrolled foliage extending to both sides. The field is plain and unadorned, allowing the bold floral motif to dominate. A beaded border encircles the entire design. The circumferential legend reads FERDINANDVS III D G A A M D ETR, distributed around the periphery in Roman capitals, identifying the ruler as Ferdinand III by the Grace of God Archduke and Grand Duke of Tuscany. |
